I am instinctively organized. As a child, if I wasn’t creating art projects, I was organizing my toys rather than playing them. As I got older those interests lead to helping friends and family with organizing and design projects. I feel like I have been preparing for this career all of my life!
My enthusiasm for and knowledge of art and design gives me a unique perspective. My formal education also contributed to my skill set. I received a BA in art and psychology, as well as, a MA in Learning and Language Disabilities from Northwestern University. I am also a board member of Marwen, a non-profit arts education foundation.
When I decided to become a professional organizer and start my own business, I joined NAPO, the National Association for Productivity and Organizing Professionals. Through NAPO, I continue to expand my skills and resources, as well as, collaborate with other professionals.
Like my clients I have faced similar challenges to staying organized; raising children, sharing spaces, aging parents, busy career, volunteer work, upsizing, downsizing, renovating and moving. My life experience, work experience and personality make me particularly qualified to smooth the transitions we all go through in life. My compassionate, non-judgmental approach eases the decision-making process and paves the way for a more simplified life with less anxiety. By working together, you will become more organized and we will have fun reaching your goal.
